The Club has installed a new 60" TV in the Lounge Bar. Our 42" TV has now been moved to the Games Bar and the 37" TV has been moved into the Lounge Bar. We will continue to show all major sporting events available on both terrestrial, Sky Sports and ESPN.

Sky Sports

Games Room Refurbishment Completed. The refurbishment of the games room is now complete. Following the the re-painting of the games room during the summer and the new carpet in thegames room refurbished autumn the games room has now been refurnished. If you would like to see the video of the refurbishment and re-building of the back bar please right click on this link and select save as and download the video (60Mb). You will need a video player that can play avi (DivX) files.

Broadband has landed. The Club now provides free wireless broadband connectivity. Need to do some work but fancy a pint as well? Come down and try it out.

Premium Cask Ale: We now have two premium ales available. Our standard bitter is now Doom Bar. Our guest ale changes two or three times a week. We are also now stocking a number of guest bottle beers. Why not come in and have a pint?

Club Forum: The forum allows you to post Club related pictures, discuss and arrange things with other members and even have a poll on the best bitter in the world! There is also an electronic version of the Club's Suggestion Box. The forum can be found by clicking on this link. You will need to register to use the forum. Please use you real name and allow a couple of days before you are accepted.

Welcome to The Teston Club Web Site

The Club is situated in the idyllic village of Teston in the heart of the Kent countryside and just five miles from Maidstone, the county town of Kent. Since the Club first opened its doors on January 1st 1894 it has been a focal point for the community in and around Teston. With its selection of fine beers and wines, members lounge and games bar including a full-size antique snooker table the Club provides the perfect environment for an evening out and provides a fun and friendly atmosphere for all the family. We have social events at least once a month as well as club competitions, twice a year, in snooker and darts. Why not come along and visit the Club for yourself? New Members are always welcome and we look forward to seeing you soon!

 

Forthcoming Social Events

The Club is excited to announce the running of our first beer festival. Featuring at least 8 Kentish beers and ciders the beer festival will run on Friday 18th May (4pm - 11pm), Saturday 19th May (11am - 11pm) and Sunday 20th May (11am - 7pm). Ploughman's lunches will be available on Friday and Saturday and we will hold a BBQ on the Sunday (weather permitting). On the Friday evening we have live music with the Atlantic Currants a blue grass/folk band with the usual complimentary food and raffle. Following this on Sunday 3rd June we will be celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Please see in Club for further details.

Club Opening Hours: Club opening hours: Monday: 4pm - 10pm, Tuesday: 4pm - 11pm, Wednesday: 2pm - 11pm, Thursday: 4pm - 11pm, Friday: 4pm - 11pm, Saturday: 11:30am - 11pm, Sunday: 12pm - 9pm (remains open until 9pm on Sunday evenings subject to members being in the Club).
